This page explains what we collect when you use hideandhush.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Who we are

Hide & Hush, 2482 Yonge St #4060, Toronto, ON M4P 2H5. Email david@hideandhush.com.

What we collect

  • When you ask for a price: your name, email, phone number if you give it, ZIP or postal code, your message and the piece you ask about.
  • When you join the Hush Letter: your email address.
  • When you order: your name, email, phone, delivery and billing addresses, and your order. Payments go through Shopify’s secure checkout; we never see your full card number.
  • When you browse: the companies that run this site and our shop (Webstudio, Cloudflare and Shopify) keep standard records, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site safe and working. Your browser keeps a small note to remember your cart.

Why we use it

  • To answer your questions and send you a price.
  • To take, build, deliver and support your order.
  • To send the Hush Letter, only if you joined it. Every letter has a link to stop it.
  • To keep the records the law asks of us, such as tax records.

Who sees it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the store: Shopify (our shop, orders and email list), our email providers, and the partners who build and deliver your order, who receive only what they need to do so, such as your name, delivery address and phone number.

We do not use advertising trackers on this site today. If that changes, this page will say so first.

Where it is kept

These companies may store information in Canada, the United States or other countries, under their own security rules.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it for your request or order, and as long as the law asks (Canadian tax records, for example, are kept for six years).

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where the law allows. You can stop the Hush Letter at any time. Email david@hideandhush.com.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
